The “Golden Circle” circuit involves about 280 km of driving on mostly very well-kept roads, and lasts about 3hours and 30 minutes. This gives you ample opportunity to hike or partake in other activities around the sites you will visit. Moreover, the itinerary is a circle, so you will be able to observe a large variety of Icelandic landscapes.
