Dear Myriam,
We have just returned to Brighton to the snow and the cold, (even chillier than Iceland !! ) but with wonderful memories of our long weekend in Reykjavik. The service you provided was of excellent quality. We were very pleased with the quality of our accommodations and the warm welcome we received there. We had several concerns about visiting Iceland in wintertime before leaving that turned out to be unfounded. We were worried we would not see daylight the whole time.
All of our transfers were on time. Your itinerary was lovely and perfect for us and we will definitely put our next holiday to Iceland in your hands again.

Hello Iceland!
Great vacation. A fair amount of time spent on the bus, on short hikes and guided treks. Olafur, our guide, was great, very patient and encouraging when we would run out of steam. A big thanks to Matthew as well for the specificity of his information and his availability during our trip. I will gladly recommend Iceland like a Local to friends.
Only one regret, not having visited the fjords of the North West. I guess I'll just have to come back.

The itinerary for our custom trip to the South of Iceland was reflective of our email and Skype exchanges. Myriam's deep knowledge of the country inspired confidence in us. The trip met our expectations and was reasonably priced. Very good recommendations for driving through Iceland's heartland. The roadbook they provided had good tips for fording the rivers without stress.

Dear Iceland like a Local,
Our self drive tour was really great and everything went very well, from the greeting at the Keflavik airport to the Blue Lagoon excursion (thanks for the suggestion) on the last day. Even the weather was good; on a 15 day trip we had only two days of rain. We came back with a tan that shamed all the people who went on a beach holiday! The option of renting a little flat in Reykjavik was great. It allowed us to really experience the capital and to go on nearby short breaks (whale watching!!). We will always remember those beautiful sunsets over the volcanoes of the central highlands. We will likely be back in spring to do some bird watching.

Competant and available representatives. Flawless organization and a roadbook full of useful advice. Meteorological issues prevented our excursion to the d'Ingolfshodi peninsula South of Vatnajökull. After a quick stop in your office, it was reimbursed without a problem. Thank you for everything.

We did the tour of the island and we were never bored. A varied and magical trip. The beauty of Iceland's changing landscapes surprised and impressed us as well as the kindness of Icelanders despite the language barrier! An itinerary we recommend to anyone who loves to drive long distances and watch panoramas go by. We hope to come again to discover the center of Iceland.

A magical destination for the new year.
We were a little worried about heading to such a different destination despite your excellent information and advice. But Iceland won us over in every way. The Christmas decorations in Reykjavik, the science fiction like geothermal activity, the comfortable guesthouses, the stunning landscapes under the snow. We experienced very unpredictable but totally manageable weather (from 14 to 46 degrees). We also got the feeling that Icelanders are easier to get to know in low tourist season. We met some great people.
