Once arrived at Keflavik international airport, it’s time to pick up your rental car to start your new adventure! Drive to Reykjavik and settle in to your accommodation. You have the rest of the day to discover the city at your leisure.
Night in Reykjavik – breakfast included
Today you’re off to one of Iceland’s most famous spots: The Golden Circle – Start with the Pingvellir National Park, named a World Heritage spot in 2004 by UNESCO. Continue your drive to Geysir, the famous hot spring in the geothermal area of the Haukadalur Valley, including the powerful Strokkur geyser shooting jets of boiling water up to 40 meters! Finish your day with the Gullfoss waterfall where the water cascades 32 meters down in two stages in a dramatic display of nature’s raw power.
Night in Hella area – breakfast included
Start your day with the Thjorsardalur Valley and the Hekla volcano. Then, head to the Eyjafjallajokull and the Myrdalsjokull glaciers, well-known for sitting atop the notorious and explosive volcano, Katla. Before your next stop, explore the black sand beaches of the Iceland´s South coast.
Finish your day driving across the Mydalssandur desert and the Eldhraun lava field to your accommodation.
Night in the Kirkjubaejarklaustur area– breakfast included
What a better way to start your day than with a little bit of exercise? Hike around the Vatnajokull National Park and discover the Svartifoss waterfall and its stunning basalt rock formations. Then, you reach the Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon and be amazed by these imposing icebergs and its adjacent diamond beach. Continue your exploration of the Vatnajokull glacier, Europe’s largest before driving back through the verdant region of Kirkjubaejarklaustur and its ancient lava flows, now covered by a thick layer of moss. End the day by driving across Myrdalssandur to your accommodation.
Night in Vik area– breakfast included
Return to Keflavik driving through the lunar landscapes and savage coasts of the Reykjanes peninsula. Finish your day relaxing in the thermal turquoise waters of the Blue Lagoon.
Night in the Blue Lagoon area – breakfast included
Depending of the departure time of your flight home, you can enjoy a pre-flight soak at the Blue Lagoon before dropping off the rental car in Keflavik international airport.
Sleep in an ice cave
Do you long to experience the deep cold? Well put on your crampons and helmet, grab your ice pick and traverse a glacier to explore an ice cave that will also be your accommodation for the night.
The exact location is confidential, but we can tell you that it is located 25 km from the Skaftafell region.
Once you have arrived at the Vatnajökull glacier, it’s time to meet your equipment! Helmets, crampons and ice picks will make sure you are properly prepared! Enter the ice cave and be amazed by the many focal points as you discover the various shades of blue created by the varied density of the ice.
After a local Icelandic diner, set out your sleeping bag and enjoy your night under the glacier. What an adventure!

Embark on a zodiac tour to be able to reach a small isolated island in the middle of a glacier river (south Iceland).

Night on a glacier cap
From Reykjavík to the Lanjökull glacier, your guide will drive you in a 4×4 that is specially equipped for the glacier. Once off the main tracks, you’ll exchange your comfort for an exceptional experience. Your driver-guide will drive on the glacier and then find the perfect shelter for the night. When you have set up camp, you’ll have time to appreciate this white desert. Like an explorer, you will truly experience these polar conditions.
In the morning, you’ll take a short glacier walk to discover your icy surroundings. Then it will be time to head back to Reykjavík and the comfort of the city.
